Soft Hardware is a series of modular transparent glycerin soaps made from molds designed and 3D printed by the artist. Each piece has been conceived to fit and combine with others, creating different configurations and relationships between the objects.
The forms draw inspiration from gears, couplings, and other elements commonly found in mechanical engineering. However, the project reverses their usual meaning. While these systems are often associated with friction, wear, and dirt, here the opposite occurs: the more the pieces interact, the more soap and foam they generate.
Through this shift, Soft Hardware transforms an imagery linked to machinery and production into an experience connected to care and cleanliness, proposing a softer and more paradoxical reading of technology.
